Our family of six lives on a small piece of land in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, where the closest neighbors happen to be sheep.
Our young children spend much of their time outside exploring the woods behind our house. A few years back, we made each a toy rifle so they could go hunting together, and since then they haven't taken a walk outside without rifles and backpacks slung over their shoulders. They pretend to be deer hunters, bear hunters, army soldiers, and jungle explorers, just to name a few.
It is amazing that one simple toy can spark such imaginative play!
We hope you'll enjoy the toys from Workbench Creations as much as we do.
